Soundtrack to Your Life

With Zoba Ezeh

Three words to sum up show: Eclectic. Random. Fun. My show is about coming up with random soundtracks to things going on in life. Each week has a theme and I find sounds that somewhat correspond to that theme.

3:00

The Musicbox

With Karla Sweet

4:00

Kitschinette

With Taylor Bentley

Kitschinette primarily consists of Emily and I listening to groovy tunes (This would span from happy indie songs from artists such as Camera Obscura to 60's bop and pop, some contemporary music and the very occasional one-off cheesy power ballad or RnB/hip hop track to keep things interesting) while chatting and having laugh about all things offbeat, kitsch, twee and crafty, including films, places, music, artists, etc. We would also have a segment called ‘Stuff We Like’ pick a new thing every week, be it a fashion line inspired by Where the Wild Things Are, a magazine article or exhibition, to bang on about and encourage everyone to check out.

5:00

Crossing The Wire

With MA Radio students

A one-hour show with a different theme each week, as decided by two different editors per week, and with different presenters every time. The show will have a light feel with features, music, chat, and fun debate, all put together with care by students who love radio.
